STAWA is partner in a consortium comprising Scitech, ECAWA, MAWA and STAWA, to deliver a three-year project aimed at developing STEM teaching and learning in W.A. schools for the Department of Education.

The broad outline of the contract between the parties relates to the delivery of:

  • 40 resource modules across Years K – 12
  • PL to support roll out across W.A.
  • Online support accessible from the DoE Connect portal

During Term 2, K-6 orientation workshops on using the produced materials are planned for the Geraldton and the North Metropolitan regions. Years 7-10 workshops will also be held in the Geraldton region. Education Department teachers and principals are invited to these workshops.
