Future Science 2016

The STAWA Future Science Conference 2016 will take place on Friday 2nd December 2016 at Curtin University.

On conference day you can register from 8:00am. The conference will begin with a welcome, the de Laeter Medal and Jeff Cahill Awards presentations and Keynote Address. Delegates will then move to one of four, 45 minute presentations highlighting cutting edge WA science. Following morning tea choose workshops from concurrent session times across the day.
International Workshop on the Teaching and Learning of Einsteinian Physics in the Era of Gravitational Astronomy
Aims: Learning from each other in projects ReleQuant and Einstein-First: developing and researching learning resources, teacher guides and professional learning and collaboration within modern physics in Norway, Australia and internationally.
A workshop bringing together science educators and scientists interested in modern physics in the school curriculum. Check out the website. Teacher registration includes Future Sciences
Conference Fees: STAWA Members $190; Non-members $260; Special Lab Technician and Student Member Rate $110.
Fees include refreshments, morning tea, lunch, sundowner and materials.

Call For Presenters: Closed
STAWA is calling for presenters who have cutting edge, future science, laboratory or teaching experiences to share. Please complete the form below. We also welcome and encourage joint or team presentation. Presenters are invited to offer a 60 or 120 minute workshop.
